- Art School | Style
All schools of Art are eligible - contemporary, modern, folk, miniature, tribal, other native art forms, calligraphy, alphabet arts etc. Please choose correct style while uploading your art work, from the drop-down menu
- Originals only
Only original art works are accepted. Proxy works, fakes, reproductions, copies, replicas, "inspired by" creations or any other form of copyright violation will lead to instant disqualification, with no refunds. In the case of native art forms, there have to be individual touches to the work even if the subject is widely used. No Prints or digital works are allowed as part of the exhibition
- Signed Artworks with authenticity certificates
All art works have to be signed by the artist and certified original. The date of the painting has to be chosen from drop down menu while uploading
- Artworks for Sale
All paintings that are a part of the exhibition have to be available for purchase by collectors. In case any painting is sold out, the platform needs to be informed of the same and the work will be marked as sold
- Specifications
Artists need to choose size | dimensions, medium of the paintings, style, painting school, shipping condition, date of work from drop down menu
- Artist Bio
Artists will need to complete the artist Bio prior to submitting the entries
- File format
- High resolution JPEG /PNG with excellent resolution. The picture will have to be in the same orientation as the painting.
- File Size: Upto 25 MB for each artwork
- Image Specifications
The image should be at least 2000 x 2000 pixels and 200dpi for a good visual experience. Crop out any edges, exclude frames, mounts, easels, or any backgrounds from paintings. Please adhere to these guidelines while shooting and editing. All participating artists are advised to follow these guidelines. Artworks that do not meet these criteria will be rejected. - Artwork Quality
Artists are advised to submit quality art works, worthy of being part of an international art fair. Choose artworks worthy of an international collector audience, in keeping with the theme. Poor quality artworks: In case the curator finds the artwork not found worthy of the art fair, the artist will be given a single chance to replace the works with something better, failing which the work may be rejected.
- Certificate of authenticity
Every artist participating in the exhibition will need to furnish the certificate of authenticity in the format provided once the registration formalities are completed and the artist has uploaded the works. This is to enable the collectors and art lovers to have the confidence to buy the paintings without hesitation, benefitting the artist.
- 1 Artworks
Every participating artist can upload one artwork
- Registration fee for Individual artists
Registration Fee is subject to change with no prior intimation. Fee once paid will not be refunded. Please read through guidelines, Terms and conditions and rules clearly before paying the fee
- No Commissions Sale
Aarts Maestro does not charge any commissions for sale of paintings – be it from individual artists or galleries. The only fee Aarts Maestro collects is the registration fee. Registration fee is non-refundable
- Fair Pricing of artworks
Fair Pricing is a promise we make - to artists as well as collectors. We would like to remind artists that Aarts Maestro does not charge commissions. Fair Pricing is mandatory - Artists are advised to ensure the artwork is priced fairly. Aarts Maestro can reject artwork if the artwork is overpriced. - All sales & dispatches are between Artist and collector only
In case the artist and art lovers choose to engage in sale transactions or discussions, it is purely a transaction between the two parties only. Neither Aarts Maestro nor the sponsors | organizers have any role to play in sale of these paintings. All transactions and payments are between the buyer and seller only. Aarts Maestro’s role is purely that of a platform for exhibitions. Any disputes or negotiations will only be between the seller and buyer
- Social Media Promotions
All participating artists can promote the exhibition on their respective social media handles from their personal Aarts Maestro Profile. Artist's personal profiles are shareable across social media based on the respective platform policies
- Pricing of Artwork
The price of every art work needs to be mentioned upfront. Please fill in the price of art work via the drop down menu. We re-emphasise the need for fair pricing. Please refer to artist resources for details on fair pricing - Artist Resources
- The conditions of disqualification are as follows
- In case of disqualification, the registration amount will be forfeited and no refund requests will be entertained
- Artworks that offend religious, race, political, social or gender sensitivities
- Nude paintings, sexually suggestive or perverse works
- Plagiarized works, fakes, prints, AI generated images, pics from the internet qualify as plagiarism
- Digital manipulation or enhancement of the physical painting via photoshop or other editing tools
- Refusal to provide certificate of authenticity
- Uploading pre-sold works – only unsold works need to be uploaded and upon sale, the platform has to be instantly notified of sale
- Any other behaviour deemed a violation but not listed above
- Social Media & Exhibition Promotion
Aarts Maestro and the organizers | sponsors will promote the exhibition on Social Media for a period of 12 months. Participating artists benefit from these promotions. There are no additional charges for social media promotions. The exhibition as a whole will be promoted and not any specific Art work. List of participating artists will be shared on social media at regular intervals. Artists may be contacted for promotional videos. Artists who respond on time can also avail of video promotions of their profile and art works too. Choosing to use the video or not, is at the discretion of the organizer | Platform provider
- Proficiency Levels
- At the time of registration, please choose your proficiency levels as an artist
- Hobbyist: As a hobbyist, your art is not neither your primary career or your primary source of income. You paint or draw more for pleasure and self expression, rather than for commercial success or recognition.
- Professional Artist: As a professional artists, you view art as a career, dedicate time and effort to nurture your talent, hone your skill, build a portfolio, participate in exhibitions and establish a market for your works. You paint almost daily, have several collections to your credit and your artworks are in possession of collectors, galleries and / or museums. You regularly participate in exhibitions and / or art fairs, your works are in demand and command a vibrant price.
- Information Sharing
- In the event a prospective buyer expresses interest in a particular artist’s work, information as below will be shared with the person
- Artist Name, Mobile Number, email id and Bio-Data are shared with the collector
- The collectors name, mobile number and e-mail Id are shared with the artist or the gallery
- We reiterate that neither Aarts Maestro nor the organizers | sponsors are in any way responsible for sale of the art work or responsible for any commercial negotiations, sale, shipping etc. This is solely between the collector or buyer and the artist or gallery as the case may be.
- Consent
Registering for the exhibition is explicit consent to the above-mentioned terms and conditions, guidelines, as well as Aarts Maestro privacy policy
- Galleries
Galleries who wish to enrol their artists can write to us at hello@aartsmaestro.com. We do not charge any commissions from galleries either - only a registration fee

Does Aarts Maestro charge a commission?
No - Aarts Maestro only charges a one time registration fee that is valid for the entire duration of the exhibition. We do not charge any commission.
Does Aarts Maestro negotiate on behalf of the creator with prospective buyers?
No - The artists are free to assign market leading prices for their artworks, have conversations with & close the sale with prospective buyers, as per terms convenient to the two parties. However, to keep the platform clean and transparent, Aarts Maestro insists all rates for the product are published in a transparent fashion, as also the details of the product, including authenticity certificates, artist bios etc. Entries without all of this information will be disqualified.
Does Arts Maestro represent the interest of any particular artist or gallery?
No - Arts Maestro does not represent the interest of any particular artist, gallery, culture group etc. We are a neutral platform and our only goal is to invite creators into a safe space to exhibit AND sell their creations | services as the case may be.
Terms & Conditions
Limited Grant of Rights: Aarts Maestro respects the artists copyright to their work and the same shall remain vested with the artist. By entering into the exhibition, you – the artist explicitly grants the platform Aarts Maestro, the organizers and the Sponsors their licensees and designees, the worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free right to use the entry in the platform / sponsor / organizers print, electronic and web communications, on digital assets, products or any merchandise, and in ads promoting future exhibitions or competitions or awards or any other form of communication without further permission, compensation, or notification. You further agree that the said platform / organizer / sponsor shall have the right, but not the obligation, to use your name, and /or photograph of yourself or the painting for the same purposes.
Participant Agreement: Participants hereby understand & agree that the participant data will be shared with the organizers, jurors, collectors or prospective buyers who seek information about the artist to either enquire or buy or discuss the listed paintings. Participants understand this is a necessary process for organizing the exhibition, for jurying of the exhibition and also to shortlist entries for any awards or prizes. Participants also indemnify Aarts Maestro, the organisers and sponsors from any negative fallout of likely commercial transactions with prospective buyers.
Participants explicitly understand and agree that the platform Aarts Maestro is only to facilitate the exhibition of approved entries and not to ensure sale of exhibited paintings or art works. Participants also agree to receive communication from Aarts Maestro, the organizers and sponsors on a regular basis with respect to the competition and beyond.
Prospective buyers understand that any expression of interest will result in their personal information – name, mobile number, e-mail id, being shared with the artist. Buyers also explicitly understand that
- Aarts Maestro is an exhibition platform only. The role of the platform is to facilitate exposure for promising artists and enable art lovers and collectors to buy art directly from the artist
- Prospective buyers also understand and agree that all sale related discussions - be it price, negotiations, payments, settlements, shipments etc are directly between the buyer and artists only. Aarts Maestro has no role in any of these bi-lateral discussions
