Kedar S. Bhide is a renowned photographer, visual artist, and herpetologist with broad expertise in image creation, exhibitions, publishing, conservation writing, and teaching. He is a member of distinguished photographic and conservation organizations, has received international awards, and serves as a judge in various competitions.
Currently, he is an external faculty member at Symbiosis School of Photography and specializes in Giclée printing, which produces high-fidelity archival fine-art prints with permanence. As Director of Nature Works, he combines his passion for photography with conservation efforts.
His work spans multiple genres including landscape, portrait, abstract, documentary, and wildlife photography. He is particularly known for his expertise in fine art printing using the Giclée process with high resolution, archival papers and inks.
Beyond photography, Kedar is an accomplished herpetologist who has authored two new herpetological reports documenting snake species from India. His photographs have been featured in numerous books and publications, bridging the gap between scientific research and artistic expression.
