I am Vipul Saxena, a seasoned professional with over 18+ years of experience in the HDFC Group as a Health Insurance Analyst, alongside a deeply rooted journey in wildlife photography, documentary filmmaking, and bird research.

Over the years, I have actively worked in the domain of wildlife documentation and conservation storytelling, with a strong emphasis on ethical photography practices, behavioural accuracy, and ecological authenticity. My work extends beyond visual storytelling into scientific observation, field surveys, and conservation awareness initiatives, particularly across Madhya Pradesh.

I have been honoured with the BPOTY – 2025 NTPC Pakshi Award (Bird Photographer of the Year), one of India’s most prestigious recognitions in bird photography. In addition, my work has earned 25+ national and international awards in bird and wildlife photography categories, along with a Top 10 selection in the Photography (Wildlife/Birds) category at 35AWARDS 2026, further reinforcing my consistency, credibility, and excellence in this field.

My documentary films, including “Hidden Wilderness of Madhya Pradesh” and “Wilderness of Madhya Pradesh”, have received state-level recognition and awards from the Government and Forest Department, highlighting my contribution to conservation-driven filmmaking.

As the Founder of the Indore Birding Club, I have built a strong community of 1,900+ members, actively promoting bird monitoring, citizen science, and grassroots conservation awareness. I have also contributed to the publication “Birds of Indore” and collaborated with the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department in conducting bird surveys and field initiatives.
