Sachin Rai is a renowned Wildlife Photography Tutor and Mentor who has been running his own Photography Tour Company, The Gliding Frog, for the last two decades. His expertise in wildlife photography education has made him a sought-after mentor for aspiring photographers across the country.
He has served on the panel of several renowned photography competitions including the DJ Memorial Photography Competition (DJMPC) as a juror, bringing his extensive field experience and educational insights to the evaluation process.
Sachin has a special passion for photographing frogs, which inspired the name of his company. During one of his dedicated frog expeditions, he made a significant contribution to herpetology by helping to rediscover a species of frog thought to be extinct in India - Ramanella anamalaiensis. This remarkable discovery highlights his dedication to both photography and conservation.
