Objectives
- Educate: Increase awareness about the harmful effects of narcotic drug abuse on individuals, families, and communities, with a special focus on the Indian context.
- Engage: Students become ambassadors against drug use and through powerful communication, they communicate this message to peers as well as adults. The consequences of drug use are unpleasant and long lasting
- Empower: Encourage students to take a stand against drug abuse and to support others in making positive choices.
- Prevent: Eliminate the incidence of drug abuse by promoting a culture of health and wellness.
Target Audience
The competition is open to students and young adults aged between 10 - 22. The 3 age groups for participation are Tweens ( 10 - 13 years ) | Teens ( 14 - 17 ) and Youth ( 18 - 22 ). Schools, colleges, and community organizations across India are also encouraged to participate and support the initiative. The future of our country and planet is happy and healthy youth!
Categories and Activities
Participants can enter the competition through various categories. Please go to the respective category to participate in the same
- Art: Poster and drawing competitions highlighting anti-drug messages, incorporating Indian cultural elements.
- Writing: Essay, poem, and short story contests that discuss the impact of drugs and the benefits of a drug-free life, with a focus on local contexts.
- Performing Arts: Skits, plays, mime, dance performances, music performances & puppetry conveying anti-drug themes, including from traditional Indian art forms.
- Digital Media: Short film and video contest showcasing the dangers of drug use and promoting healthy alternatives. This can be in English, Hindi or any other Indian Language. While all languages are welcome, "Silent films" that transcend language but produce great impact will get jury preference.
Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, relevance to the theme, and the overall impact of the message. Prizes include certificates, scholarships, trophies, and public recognition. Special consideration will be given to entries that leverage diversity and richness of Indian culture to convey the message.

This is online only Art Competition
- Eligibility
The Art Competition is open to all artists aged between 10 - 22. The 3 age groups for participation are Tweens ( 10 - 13 years ) | Teens ( 14 - 17 ) and Youth ( 18 - 22 )
- Registration Fee
Registration Fee is subject to change with no prior intimation. Fee once paid will not be refunded. Please read through guidelines, Terms and conditions and competition rules clearly before paying the fee.
- Medium
Oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, pencil, pen & charcoal. Digital Art not allowed.
- Originality
Only authentic, original artwork is accepted. Plagiarised works, proxy works, fakes, reproductions, copies, replicas, "inspired by" creations, AI generated images, pics from the internet qualify as plagiarism or any other form of copyright violation will be instantly disqualified. If there are any doubts about authenticity, Aarts Maestro reserves the right to demand proof of artistry. The organiser reserves the right to call for the artwork to inspect authenticity and if in doubt, the entry will be disqualified.
- Content Policy
Artworks that offend religious, race, political, social or gender sensitivities will be instantly disqualified.

Declaring and paying taxes is the participants responsibility. The Say No to Drugs - Poster Making is judged by an expert Jury Panel, consisting of reputed artists, art tutors & experts. This enables artists to get a well rounded perspective on their art and also all round exposure. To preserve the sanctity of the competition & the jury process, the names of our expert jury panel will not be made public until after the results are out.
