This dance competition is a fabulous and unique opportunity for Indian classical dancers across the world to bring about bio-diversity and environmental awareness through their exquisite and timeless dances

Guidelines & Requirements
- Eligibility
- The competition is open to classical dancers from all over the world
- The age group is 13 and above
- The Competition is language agnostic - participants are free to choose a language of their choice for the competition based composition
- How to Submit Entries
- All entries will need to be in a video format. Upload the video to YouTube in Unlisted mode and Submit the YouTube link via the Aarts Maestro platform
- The entries need to be a minimum of 4 Minutes and a max of 6 minutes only. Max size limit: 1 GB
- The participant needs to introduce her|himself and provide the following details before the song begins: Name, How many years learning dance, Which classical dance style (please mention Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Odissi, Mohiniattam, Kathak, Kathakali, Manipuri etc), Composition details - short 1 or two line introduction like composer name, details of song and dance, raga etc. Introduction can be in English or Hindi
- Introduction should be very crisp and for 20-30 seconds only
- Practice your piece well. One continuous performance - no enhancements or tinkering. No editing or stitching the performance from multiple clips. The entries that are tampered with in any form - either through edits or enhancements will be disqualified. The sound has to be clear and camera needs to fully follow dancer and his/her movements. Videos that do not meet the parameters mentioned above will not be considered complete and will not be juried
- All entries will need to be solo performances only. We recommend the dancers choose one long piece of 5 minutes. Sticking to the time of 5 minute time will give the dance time for the initial introductions
- Video Shoot Guidelines
- Choose a calm, quiet, noise and echo free location. Ensure voice is crystal clear & there is no background sound of any kind - including the sounds of fans A/C etc
- Practice well before recording
- Please ensure good lighting, the camera is steady and firm with no shaking and the focus is on you - the participant
- Plain light coloured backgrounds are preferred. Please avoid busy, printed backgrounds. If need be, cover the distractions with a clean offwhite sheet
- The dancer needs to be dressed in classical dance attire as per the particular dance style. Entries without appropriate costumes will also be considered incomplete. Incomplete entries will not be considered for Jurying
- Rules and Regulations
- Every participant need to sign up to the Aarts Maestro platform and register for the competition
- This is a paid competition
- Participants are free to register in advance to avail of the early bird discount and upload the video later
- The fee once paid is non-refundable
- A participants application is successful only upon completing all three steps - pay and register for the competition, upload the entry and publish the entry before the due date
- This is classical dance competition and there are 6 genres - BharataNatyam, Kathakali, Kathak, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, Manipuri and Odissi. Please choose the correct category while uploading & publishing
- We welcome participation from all genders
- The competition results are a combination of the decisions of the jury panel as well as public voting
- Once the Jury process is completed, a 10 day window will be provided for public Voting. The combined scores determine the winners. Individual jury scores and public voting scores will be shared with each participant upon result announcements. The decision of the judges & the combined public voting + jury scores is final and binding on all participants and no further questions on the same shall be entertained. Please refer to jury parameters to understand how the process works
- Jury Parameters will be published shortly in consultation with the jury members
- Prize Redemption
Winners will be required to furnish government approved proof of identity & residence, as a precaution to prevent fraud. Local tax rules as applicable for cash prizes

The Theme of the competition is "The Earth We Share".
Our Beautiful Planet Earth is home to more than just humans. Close to 9 Million Species of flora and fauna call earth their home. The well being of each one of us and The Earth, our home depends on the well being of all. The photography competition shines a light on this diversity and the need to cherish and preserve the same.
All dance compositions submitted for the competition need to tell this story of a shared planet and space for all life - not just humans. Diversity is not just about culture or religion - true diversity is for humans to co-exist with nature's abundant diversity.

Interpreting the Theme: The theme can be interpreted in many ways. It could be wildlife, flora or fauna. Or everyday stuff, happening around us - the choices we make adds up to the Earth We Share.
The "Earth we Share" is as much about individual choices and responsibilities as collective action. Every square kilometer of this planet is filled with diversity. Cherishing and protecting this diversity is "The Earth We Share". Intra human interactions & choices, Human - flora / fauna interactions, all this forms a part of theme.
